How much has Windows 8 improved in terms of performance?

3D Mark 11 is mainly used to measure 3D graphics performance, where graphics cards play a vital role. Although the performance is almost the same in both operating systems, in Windows 7 the result has been a little better.
PC Mark 7 shows in its tests that Windows 8 is faster than Windows 7 in all multimedia tests, which is better than x264 Benchmark 5.0. leaves evident with an advantage of 6%.
