The best games for Windows 8 (III)
Table of contents:
Still don't know what to play in Windows 8? We recommend that you take a look at the previous articles in this publication, where we have seen games as well made as Skulls of the Shogun, or simple but entertaining asDodo GoGo.
If you still need more recommendations, don't worry, because this time we will talk about the following games: FastBall2, Bloackability 3D and Adera And remember that if you want us to analyze one in particular, you simply have to ask for it in a comment.
FastBall2
FastBall 2 is a simple but entertaining game as you can see in the attached video. Basically our objective is to make the ball not hit any obstacle or fall into the void, although we won't have it that easy.
The only control available is clicking or tapping to make the ball jump. But the levels are full of obstacles, water holes, slopes, and even high-speed zones, U-turns or jump platforms.
If we get stuck at any level, we can always use a Token, which we will earn as we play, to go to the next level and mark the current one as completed. The game has options to change the interface and also the ball.
If we want to get the full version, it will cost us €2.49 but if not, we can always stay with the free one, which includes an advertising banner that doesn't bother us.
Bloackability 3D
Bloackbility 3D revives the spirit of the old 3D Block. It is a kind of tetris but in three dimensions, where you can rotate the piece in various ways using the keyboard, or the touch controls that appear on the screen .
The game is totally free, with no additional extras or paid versions. You just go in and play successively until you lose, which can be quite entertaining as the rate at which pieces drop, and the complexity of keeping them at the lowest level, increases as time goes by.
Adera
Adera is a graphic adventure, and a game that in itself impresses as soon as you see it. With this game, which makes use of Xbox Live, it is intended to revolutionize the concept of what a game should or should not be for platforms like Windows 8.
You must explore every corner of the Atacama Desert to find your grandfather, whom you thought was dead; and solve the enigma that surrounds the mysterious orb that you got, legacy of your mother. To do this, we will collect even the smallest of the objects that we find, even if we believe that it is of no use to us, because in the end we will connect the dots and we will end up using everything.
The game is worth at least being played by all video game fans with Windows 8. However, it may not end up convincing everyone, mainly because what we will download will not be the full game, not the first episode.
Currently, there are 3 episodes available and a fourth announced to be released soon. The first episode is totally free so users can try Adera and see if it's worth paying for or not.The second and third cost €3.99 and €3.29 respectively.
