We can have one of the best operating systems of the moment but if we do not have it optimized we will not be able to get the most out of it. In this short tutorial I am going to teach you several tricks to get the most out of your operating system and speed up Windows 10, Windows 8 and Windows 7.

Energy options
The first thing is to go to the control panel and start " Power Options ". By default, we have the “ balancing ” option selected, what we are going to do is click on the “ hide additional plans ” dropdown and we are going to select the “high performance” option. This will be very useful for us because all our components will go 100% and without any limit.
We are also going to click on the option “ Choose the behavior of the start / stop buttons ” located in the left area.
We will click on the option " Change the currently unavailable configuration ".
It will be enabled at the end of the window and we will activate the option " Activate quick start (recommended) ". This option allows us to make a very fast boot and it is recommended for users who only have an operating system and we will save changes.
Note: In case of Dual Boot I do not recommend it.
Task Manager
We go to Control Panel -> System -> Task Manager (by shortcut control + shift + esc). Once opened we will go to the Home tab. This option allows us to enable and disable the programs that start with our operating system and their impact on it.
Right-clicking allows us to enable or disable the application.
My recommendation is that you keep the ones you know and are necessary: antivirus, sound card application, etc… And if you need to use Spotify, Chrome, One Drive, do it at the time of use. How
Visual Effects and Virtual Memory
We access System and click on System Properties. Once inside we will click on "Advanced Options" and within performance to configuration.
In visual effects we will click on the option "Adjust to find the best performance" and accept.
Without leaving this performance options window, we will go to the Advanced Options tab and click on change.
On this screen it will allow us to change the virtual memory. This works well for computers that don't have a lot of RAM and serves as a temporary solution. It is as simple as clicking on a custom size and we will multiply our RAM capacity by a minimum of 1.5 times the RAM (4GB) and a maximum of 3.
For example with 4 GB it would be like this :
- Minimum memory: 6144 MB Maximum memory: 12288 MB
Modifying virtual memory comes in handy for computers with less than 4GB of RAM. Try to use the disk faster.
Optimize hard drives
If we write in the search engine, defragment will launch the Optimize drives application. We select the mechanical hard drive and click on optimize. What does he do? Well, it reorders the hard disk making it easier for you to search for our files.
EYE: Do not use this option for SSD disks since they carry their own technology and we would shorten their life.
If you have an SSD disk, do not use applications like CCleaner or Tuneup, they will shorten the life of your precious disk for both Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10.
Delete message "Do you want to allow this program to make changes to the computer?" Accelerates Windows 10
When it came out in Windows Vista I was desperate until I found the trick, my life changed. This process accelerates Windows 10 in many of its applications, to deactivate it is as simple as opening the start bar and typing " msconfig " and hitting enter.
WE RECOMMEND YOU It is still possible to upgrade to Windows 10 for freeThe "System Configuration " window appears and we will go to the Tools tab. Select the option " change UAC settings" and lower the notification level to " Never notify ". We will press accept and again accept.
This way we will forget this message until the next formatting.
