Acer announces curved xz1 monitor series with freesync and hdr

Acer has announced two gaming monitors that aim to seduce gamers within the input range, especially for those with FreeSync- compatible graphics cards. The new XZ1 series will come in 27 (XZ271U) and 31.5-inch (XZ321QU) models.

The new monitors have a curved 144Hz refresh rate panel and just 1ms response time, in a 16: 9 screen format with WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution. From what we see, it is ideal for gamers, thanks to its fast response times.

As we discussed, they both have curved displays, and the contrast reaches 3000: 1. For its part, the color coverage is 85% under NTSC and Acer ensures that the two monitors are HDR10 ready with a maximum brightness of 250 and 300 cd / m. For the maximum brightness it is offering, we find it difficult to really deliver HDR10, but there it is.

Both the XZ271U and XZ321QU are offering 1 DisplayPort 1.2 port, 1 mini DisplayPort 1.2 port and 2 HDMI 2.0 ports. There are two 7W stereo speakers and a headphone jack on each monitor, as well as a four-port USB 3.0 Type A hub. The stands can tilt between -5 and 25 degrees, rotate +/- 25 degrees and provide height adjustments of up to 120mm. Both panels are available right now on Amazon.com for $ 527 and $ 550 respectively.
