During the past year we discussed the Acer Jade Primo, one of the first phones to feature Windows 10 Continuum technology, which allows us to use the phone as a desktop PC if we connect it to a monitor.

Acer Jade Primo: One of the first phones with Continuum technology

Now the Acer Jade Primo has finally arrived in Europe having a real provision for the entire territory, for a price of 599 euros. Although, a priori, it seems somewhat expensive, in the following lines this value is clearly justified.

Firstly, the screen of the Acer Jade Primo is 5.5 inches with a FullHD resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, 2 cameras of 21 megapixels and another of 8 rear and front respectively respectively as usual. Internally, the Acer Jade Primo is defended with a Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of expandable storage via memory cards, WiFi AC connectivity and support for USB Type-C.

Acer Jade Primo comes with the included Dock, keyboard and mouse

These characteristics by themselves do not justify their price, but if we add the official Dock to make Continuum work, a keyboard and a mouse to the Acer Jade Primo pack, the price of 599 euros makes more sense.

In the following video we can see the presentation of the Acer phone with special emphasis on Continuum functionality.

Naturally if we use it as a computer, the calculation power cannot be compared to an average PC, but it is more than enough to browse the Internet and work with office applications comfortably, all with the advantage of having one in our hands " Pocket PC ” , a concept that was born with Windows 10.
