Acer predator 21x announced: 2 x gtx 1080 and 21 curved screen

It was talked about a few months ago but finally it was now at CES 2017 when the new Acer Predator 21X laptop was announced, a new monster with a 21-inch curved screen and no less than two GeForce GTX 1080 inside.

The new Acer Predator 21X is a monstrous laptop that mounts a large 21-inch IPS screen with 2560 x 1080 pixels resolution and a 2000R curvature, its features continue with a 120 Hz refresh rate to make your games look more fluid than ever thanks to Nvidia G-Sync technology.

To move such a screen, it has been chosen to include cutting-edge and very powerful hardware inside, the Acer Predator 21X hides no less than two GeForce GTX 1080 graphics cards accompanied by an Intel Core i7-7820HK processor at 3.90 GHz and up to 64 GB of RAM. A configuration that surely is much more powerful than that used by most of our readers and at the service of which is a cooling system with five fans and a total of 9 copper heatpipes to prevent it from becoming a barbecue. As you can imagine, it is not easy to power such a configuration, so the equipment uses two power sources that together are capable of supplying the necessary energy.

The Acer Predator 21X features continue with a mechanical keyboard powered by acclaimed Cherry MX RGB switches, a large audio system consisting of 4 speakers + 2 subwoofers, a reversible touchpad to discover a numeric keypad, the possibility of installing up to 5 units of storage and great connectivity in the form of USB ports, card reader or three video outputs in the form of two DisplayPort 1.4a and an HDMI 2. With all this it is a very heavy equipment that reaches 8.8 Kg in weight, not that it is very portable to say.
