ADATA SU750 was first seen at CES 2019 and is finally hitting stores, renewing ADATA's offering within the 'affordable' solid state drive segment.

ADATA SU750 comes in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacities

The drive uses the standard 2.5-inch format and the 6 Gb / s SATA interface. This new drive arrives to power the SU700 and provides exceptional SATA speeds at a reasonable price, or so it should.

SU750 uses a Realtek controller with 3D NAND TLC memory (triple tier) and has SLC caching. Performance speeds are up to 550 MB / s read and up to 520 MB / s write, practically reaching the theoretical limit that the SATA III interface can reach. Furthermore, ADATA claims that they are more resistant to vibrations (1500G / 0.5ms). Therefore, the data must be more secure even if it is inside a laptop to travel.

The SU750 is initially available in three capacity options, starting at 256GB. Higher capacity options include 512GB and 1TB. We see that ADATA is forgetting about those 120 GB drives that are usually sold.

Like all ADATA SSDs, the free Toolbox is included. This not only allows users to track the status of their SSDs, but also transfer the contents of their current drive to a new drive. This is especially useful for those who are moving from a traditional hard drive to a new SSD. Furthermore, it is simple and easy to use, requiring very little in terms of knowledge.

ADATA did not disclose pricing information at this time.
