Adata xpg launches an impressive new series of monitors
Table of contents:
ADATA has a strong history of manufacturing memory and storage products, but not so much when it comes to monitors. For this reason, the company surprised with a new series of monitors presented at CES 2020 that belong to its XPG range.
ADATA showcases its 27-inch XPG Photon monitors
The XPG Photon has a 27-inch panel, which is quite large for most users, but we cannot rule out the fact that a model with a larger screen is marketed.
The panel comes from LG and AOU, which is great because LG is making amazing panels right now. However, XPG makes its own special backlight for impressive performance.
The XPG Photon has a UHD (4K) resolution on the IPS panel. One of the strong points is the color rendering, which is certified with a 95% DCI-P3, which makes this monitor great for design. To this we must add FreeSync and Burst-Refresh, and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, with a brightness of 1500 nits. It would have been great if the monitor also had HDR certification, which is not specified.
There will also be an FHD panel with 240 Hz and 600 nits of brightness. However, we did not see it at the CES 2020 exhibition.

The monitor features an impressive back panel, which is covered in fabric for a truly unique look, with an added hint of RGB, but in good measure. It also uses a special adjustable desk clamp bracket for added flexibility.
We don't have a solid price yet. However, seeing its exceptional features, we hope that the price reflects this too. We will keep you informed.
