The RGB fan segment continues to grow with more and more offers for those who want to beautify their gaming computers. This time we have to talk about Alpenföhn and its new Wing Boost 3 ARGB fans, which are 120mm pieces with high air flow.
Alpenföhn Wing Boost 3 has an ARGB ring with multiple light effects
Wing Boost 3 ARGB offers enormous cooling performance with its 120mm format and also multiple RGB effects that look so good with the lights off.
Wing Boost 3 ARGB has a series of very interesting features:
- Addressable RGB LED lighting Optimized fan blades for increased airflow High-quality IC motor control for minimal noise PWM speed control Anti-vibration system Can be used with CPU, housing or fan for radiators
The fans come with rubber pads, which are supposed to dampen vibrations. These vibrations are one of the causes of noise generation in traditional fans, so many of these well-known brand fans often include similar systems.
The fans rotate at speeds between 700 to 2200 RPM. As stated above, Wing Boost 3 ARGBs are multi-purpose. We can use them to replace those of our CPU heatsink, or use them in our chassis. The maximum air flow would be 77.92 CFM. Rotating at maximum speed, the noise generation reaches 36.8 dBA.

There is also a slower-spinning 140mm larger model, 400 to 1050 RPM with an airflow of 59.21 CFM. Being slower also reduces noise generation to 19 dBA.
These Alpenföhn Wing Boost 3 ARGB fans sell for 19.90 euros (120mm) and 22.90 euros (140mm) per unit.
