Amazon prepares new tv devices with alexa and 4k

If those from Cupertino are about to launch a new Apple TV 4K, the Internet sales giant Amazon was not going to be less, and although it already has two devices for television, the Fire Stick and the Fire TV, it is working at the launch of two new streaming devices: a mid-tier Fire TV in the form of a dongle and a top-tier set-top box.
Amazon's new streaming devices
The new intermediate-level streaming device will be a dongle much like Google's Chromecast. It will connect directly to the TV's HDMI port and arrive with support for 4K HDR video at 60 FPS. Inside it will have a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, Mali 450 GPU, 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, making it a more powerful device than the current second-generation Fire Stick. However, this will not replace its predecessor, but both will coexist thus offering customers a cheaper option with 1080p quality, and a more premium device with 4K and HDR.
The second device Amazon works on is a cube-shaped set-top-box that integrates far-field microphones and an infrared transmitter that will allow control of other devices. It will also have 4K HDR support at 60 FPS and will also include your virtual assistant Alexa allowing you to control other devices in the home. Above the box we will find the volume and mute buttons as well as a button to activate Alexa and a blue LED light bar.
Using the built-in microphones or the voice-enabled remote control, you can invoke Alexa at any time and get a response through the TV speakers or the built-in speakers in the set.
Pricing has yet to be revealed but both devices could be announced this month and go on sale in October.
