Amd carrizo shows twice the graphic performance of kaveri
New information about AMD's future Carrizo chips has appeared showing a huge performance boost in its integrated graphics over Kaveri.
AMD Carrizo is based on the Excavator microarchitecture and the manufacturer claims that it will be one of its biggest advances in terms of energy efficiency. Now data on its performance has been leaked in SiSoft Sandra software showing a great increase in the performance of its integrated graphics. Carrizo has shown a score of 600Mpix / s compared to the 270 Mpix / s of the A10-7850K, the current top of the range of the Kaveri family, and the 200 Mpix / s reached by the Intel HD5200 Iris Pro iGPU. The performance figure shown by Carrizo it is equivalent to a Radeon R7 265 which in turn becomes the PC equivalent of the PS4's GPU.
Remember that AMD carrizo will be manufactured with the same process at 28nm that is currently used in Kaveri and will offer a TDP between 15W and 35W.
