Amd unveils specifications for ryzen 3 2200g and ryzen 5 2400g processors

AMD has published the final specifications of its Ryzen 3 2200G and 2400G processors that will arrive on the market very soon, they are the first APUs for the desktop systems that make use of Zen cores along with Vega graphics.

The main difference of these Ryzen 3 2200G and 2400G processors with the rest of the Ryzen range solutions, is that they include in their die a graphics processor based on the Vega architecture. Beyond that there are also some improvements like higher operating frequencies, better memory compatibility and Precision Boost 2 technology that will help achieve better turbo speeds.

On the other hand the AMD Ryzen 3 2200G is a more modest processor with 4 cores and 4 threads at base frequencies and turbo of 3.50 / 3.70 GHz, the graphic processor is also reduced to 512 Stream Processors at a speed of 1100 MHz. It maintains a 65W TDP alongside a dual chanel DDR4 memory controller with support for up to 64GB at 2667MHz. It retails for $ 99 alongside the Wraith Stealh heatsink.
