One of the most interesting games that will come out during these last days of August is Strange Brigade. The Rebellion game is due out on August 27 and AMD is ready to welcome you with an update to the Adrenalin 18.8.2 Beta drivers.
Adrenalin 18.8.2 welcomes Strange Brigade
AMD today released version 18.8.2 Beta of its Radeon Adrenalin controllers. This version of the famous drivers includes support for Strange Brigade, so if you are planning to play this game and have an AMD graphics card these drivers are going to be a must for you.
Other than that, there are some known issues with this version of the driver, such as: minor corruption in Strange Brigade's Vulkan rendering on Windows 7 systems; the application hangs on V-Sync and FreeSync-enabled systems (at the same time) (also on Windows 7); and the operation of Radeon Overlay on multiple GPU configurations under Vulkan rendering.
Remember that these drivers are Beta, so they are not recommended if you already have the latest stable drivers and you do not intend to play Strange Brigade in any case, you can easily pass them.
The Adrenalin series of controllers are compatible with graphics cards from the rather old HD 7700-7900 series, but AMD does not abandon support for these cards in any way, as does the entire Radeon Mobility series. The drivers are compatible with the Windows 7 operating system onwards.
