Amd releases radeon crimson edition 16.11.2 'hotfix' drivers
AMD has made available a 'hotfix' update for its Radeon Crimson Edition 16.11.2 drivers, which will solve a problem in the performance of its latest graphics cards in the RX 4xx line.
“This release is focused on an enhancement to our hatch cache feature to allow more shaders to be stored and leveraged on extremely demanding games that may have previously hit the old storage ceiling. This will allow some games, such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, to benefit more from this feature ” is what AMD says about these controllers.
To clean it up, the new hotfix drivers unlocks the shader cache storage, which would help to get better performance on which games.
With the Radeon Crimson Edition 16.11.2 hotfix drivers, official support for Forza Horzon 3 is finally added, which should improve its performance now (although they do not indicate it) and the new AMD CrossFire profile for Deadnought running under the DirectX 11 API.
This controller also fixes an issue that arose when we minimized a video game and then wanted to see a viseo in the browser, which should now play without slowdowns. Battlefield 1 also fixes some intermittent bugs that caused a popup and cracked the game.
