AMD has released its new Radeon Software 17.9.2 graphics drivers with which it intends to continue offering users the best possible support for the use of its Polaris and Vega-based graphics cards.

AMD has published a list of the errors that were present in previous versions and that have been fixed in these Radeon Software 17.9.2.

- Hearts of Iron IV may experience a system crash when the campaign scenario starts.

- Radeon Software may display erroneous "1603" error after installing Radeon Software. This error will not affect the installation of Radeon Software.

The problems that persist in this new version have also been disclosed:

-Drop-down option to enable enhanced sync may be missing from Radeon Settings in Radeon RX Vega Series Graphics Products. A clean installation of Radeon Software can avoid this problem.

- Unstable Radeon WattMan profiles cannot be reset to default after system crash. One workaround is to start Radeon WattMan after restarting and restoring default settings.

- Radeon Settings cannot fill in game profiles after Radeon Software initial installation.

- Overwatch may experience random or intermittent suspension in some system settings.

- GPU scaling may not work in some DirectX 11 applications.

- Secondary screens may show corruption or green screen when the screen / system goes to sleep or hibernates with content playback.

- Eyefinity Mixed Mode Bevel Compensation cannot be applied.

- When recording with Radeon ReLive on Radeon RX Vega Series graphics products, GPU usage and clocks may remain in high states.
