Amd shows the box of threadripper processors

We continue talking about AMD and that is that its CEO, Lisa Su, has shown the box in which the expected Ryzen Threadripper processors will come, the new chips of the brand with a total of up to 16 cores and that will serve to return to the HEDT segment of X86 processors.

It can be seen that the Threadrippers arrive with a packaging very different from that of the Ryzen processors for the AM4 platform, these new CPUs come with a very large box which seems to have enough space to include the processor and a cooling system. So far AMD has not said anything officially about a possible attached cooling solution with the processors, rumors were that they would bequeath with a liquid cooling AIO kit.

The size of the box seems more than enough to house one of these AIO kits inside and it would not be the first time since the FX-9000 came with liquid cooling as standard, so it makes good sense to repeat the strategy in its new range caps.

AMD has confirmed that the box shown corresponds to the commercial version, so it is totally ruled out that it is a review kit, we will have to wait a little longer to see the cooling solution that the brand finally attaches.
