AMD has started offering buyers of select Radeon graphics cards (RX Vega - RX 580 - RX 570) free copies of three of the most anticipated PC games of 2018, all of which will be optimized for Radeon graphics hardware, these titles are going to be; Assassins Creed Oddysey, Strange Brigade, and Star Control.

Three free games with the purchase of an RX Vega, RX 580 or RX 570 graphics card

This new package is titled "Raise the Game" and will give new RX Vega, RX 580 and RX 570 graphics card buyers free copies of Star Control Origins, Strange Brigade and Assassins Creed Odyssey. These games will be released on September 20, August 28 and October 5 respectively. The bundle will be active from August 7 to November 3 (or when AMD's stock of game codes runs out).

If you purchased a previously mentioned graphics card before November 3, you will have until December 31 to redeem your coupons at the Radeon Rewards.

This offering confirms what we have suspected since the release of Far Cry 5, that Ubisoft is strengthening its ties to AMD, hoping to make better use of its latest graphics hardware, benefiting both its PC and game console developments. Ubisoft has already confirmed that it is working with AMD to optimize Tom Clancy's The Division 2, although it now appears that AMD is also working with Ubisoft to make the PC version of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, so it would not be surprising if Radeon graphics have some kind of advantage in this game. We will see it as soon as it opens in October.
