Amd prepares the x570 chipset with pcie 4.0 to accompany ryzen 3000

During a private Gigabyte event, it is mentioned that AMD's X570 chipset is being developed to accompany Matisse processors (Ryzen 3000).

AMD would launch the X570 chipset at Computex

According to the slide released by a Taiwan source, AMD is planning to announce the Matisse-based chipset as early as Computex, to be held in late May in Taipei. The slides have Gigabyte watermarks.

This X570 chipset would be the first to support PCI Express 4.0, a technology supported by Zen 2 and 7nm Vega GPUs. If this leak is true, then it would be very strange if Navi and Ryzen 3000 were not able to support PCIe 4.0, which provided 2 times the bandwidth of PCI Express 3.0.

The slide is clearly from a few months ago, as the B450 and Athlon 200GE series are still marked in red. That said, it is possible that the launch may be planned for a different event now, and not exactly at Computex, but for now it is the information we have.

Slides reveal KF variants of Intel Core 9000

This slide also indicates that Intel's Glacier Falls will be available in Q3 2019. This means Skylake Refresh will have a fairly short lifespan.
