Amd prepares new athlon kaveri for fm2 +

AMD is working on three new models of Kaveri silicon-based Athlon processors for FM2 + shocket with Steamroller microarchitecture and a 28nm Bulk manufacturing process.

Below we detail these processors:

- Athlon X2 450 with two cores at 3.5 GHz base frequency and 3.9 GHz with turbo mode activated, plus 1 MB of L2 cache and a 65W TDP.

- Athlon X4 840 with quad-core 3.1 GHz base and 3.8 GHz turbo, 4 MB L2 cache and 65W TDP.

- Athlon X4 860K with unlocked multiplier, quad core at 3.7 GHz base frequency and 4 GHz with turbo mode, 4 MB of L2 cache and a 95W TDP.

Remember that these CPUs do not have integrated graphics so they force you to use a graphics card, there is still no data on their availability and prices.
