Amd radeon rx 480: leaked specs

Anonim

Early yesterday morning it was leaking that the AMD Radeon RX 480 was running in Full HD or 1440p at 144 Hz. Mysteriously, a slide of tomorrow's presentation has been leaked where we can see several really interesting features.

The AMD Radeon RX 480 will come with a Polaris 10 chip with a frequency of 12000 MHz, a power of 5.5 TFLOPs, 2034 stream processors, 8 GB of GDDR5 memory (normal) and a 256-bit interface. Little by little the rumors have been made official and it will surely compete with the GTX 970 and GTX 980.

On power it will have a single 6-pin PCI Express connector and a really low TDP of 150 W. As rear connections it will have the new DisplayPort 1.4 output and will be able to reproduce HDR Ready and Full HEVC.

If AMD wants to gain a foothold in the market, it will have to come out with very competitive prices because the new Nvidia Pascal graphics cards are very tough rivals today.
