AMD wants to put the batteries and plans that its Radeon Software is fully compatible with desktop systems and also with mobile phones. During 2018 AMD had quite a few problems with this software and the Ryzen + Vega APUs, so its new creations were rather poorly optimized for overall operation due to the appearance of quite a few support errors by its driver software.

Radeon Software fully compatible with desktops and mobiles.

As many of the users of this AMD platform will already know, before it was necessary to customize the APU driver for each product and OEM manufacturer. This problem was especially acute for users of Ryzen-based mobile devices, as there were cases where the manufacturer did not implement any driver support.

Of course the complaints were immediate, and we must say that AMD managed this problem very well and was quickly giving solutions to the complaints and problems that were occurring. In this way, the company was able to offer support from day 1 to solve problems reported by users of the AAA games that were coming out for their APUs.

The only problem was in the new silver form Ryzen + Vega APU for desktop and Ryzen Mobile APU for portable devices. These are still fairly recent and of course need optimization and more dedication from the brand. These platforms started out being compatible with quite a few editions of their Radeon Software, so we could experience numerous compatibility failures depending on the platform and software we used.

In this 2019 AMD intends to give a 180 degree turn to the deficiency of support for these two platforms with the launch of Radeon Software for the first quarter of 2019. In this way, users of the aforementioned APUs will already have full support for these chips. Of course it will be applicable to both the Ryzen 2000 series as Ryzen 3000 and Athlon.

AMD must solve this type of problem with the users of its most recent platforms, since it does not make sense that we acquire a leading product so that we can only get it a poor performance based on its possibilities. Are you your user of any of these platforms? Tell us what you think about them and the AMD initiative.
