AMD RX 460 and AMD RX 470

Lisa Su (CEO of AMD) has shown these two little creatures in images, which come to cover users who play League Of Legends and MOBA (Above all eSports) games at a greatly reduced price.

The AMD Radeon RX 470 will have the core of the Polaris 10 PRO with 14nm FinFET manufacturing processing and a base frequency of 1206 MHz. The speed of the GDDR5 memory will be 1, 750 GHz, a bandwidth of 224 GB / s and a 256 bit bus. As we can see in the images it will have a 6-pin PCI Express power connector.

While the AMD RX 460 will come equipped with the Polaris 11 graphics chip and a 14nm manufacturing process. Not much data has been revealed yet, but we do know that it will have a TDP of less than 75W, so it will become the perfect candidate for HTPC or low-consumption equipment.

We recommend reading the best graphics cards on the market.

We see AMD's strategy very successful, since it will release the RX 480 for 2K resolutions, the RX 470 for Full HD resolutions with high filters and the RX 460 for LoL-style eSports and indie games in Full HD resolutions.

Availability and price

Its price has not yet been revealed but if the AMD Radeon RX 480 will go to $ 199, we expect the AMD RX 470 and RX 460 to come at a very affordable price, so it would clearly win the ground to NVIDIA. Its availability is estimated to arrive in June of this year… that is, an imminent arrival. We are already preparing to analyze these beauties.
