In 9 games of the 13 total, the Ryzen 1700X is superior in performance to the Core i7-6800K, in two games it maintains a higher average framerate although the minimums are lower. Finally in Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty Infinite Warfare the Core i7-6800K is faster than the AMD processor.

Most striking is that the Ryzen 7 1700X has an energy consumption between 25% and 30% lower than the Intel processor despite being superior in performance, this speaks to the incredible leap in energy efficiency that Sunnyvale's have made with the new Zen microarchitecture.
