Amd ryzen 9 3950x @ 5.4 ghz breaks the world record on cinebench

It's only been a few weeks and the AMD Ryzen 9 3950X has started to beat its own world records. In a tweet from Twitter user 'uzzi38' , AMD's flagship Ryzen 9 3950X can be seen breaking the previous world record in Cinebench R15 with a massive 5.4GHz overclock.

The AMD Ryzen 9 3950X will feature the 7nm Zen 2 core architecture. There will be three Chiplets on the Ryzen 9 interposer that include two Zen 2 arrays and a single I / O array that is based on a 14nm process node. This processor will offer 16 cores and 32 threads.

In terms of clock speeds, the AMD Ryzen 9 3950X operates at a base frequency of 3.5 GHz and a boost at 4.7 GHz, the highest in AMD's Ryzen 3000 series of processors. The chip will have 72 MB of total cache and a TDP of 105W.

In this new performance test, we see the Ryzen 9 3950X clocked at 5.4 GHz, which is really impressive. Overclocking was accomplished using the MSI MEG X570 Godlike motherboard and the chip was powered by 1, 776V, which is very close to the limit.

LN2 was used for cooling and the maximum score the processor achieved was 5501 points, which are 67 points higher than the previous world record of 5434 points, while the highest score ever achieved by the Core i9-9980XE was 5320 points. The score has not been validated like the previous records, but we should expect them to be published in HWBot very soon.

MSI managed to achieve DDR4-5100 (CL18-21-21-56) speeds over the air and 4266 MHz is expected to be the sweet spot for most X570 motherboard lines.
