AMD is working on a new GPU at 28nm to succeed the successful Curacao that we can find in the Radeon R9 270 and R9 270X.
The new AMD Trinida d GPU will bring to life the Radeon R9 370 and R9 370X that will arrive to replace the current R9 270 and R9 270X. Trinidad It will have a 256-bit memory interface and a 2 GB GDDR5 quantity, so it will not have the new and more advanced HBM. It is expected to have the same architecture as Tonga (GCN 1.2) with some optimizations to increase its energy efficiency.
