Angelbird ssd2go pocket
Austrian manufacturer Angelbird has announced the SSD2go Pocket, an external SSD that is small in size but made of very strong materials and offers excellent performance.
The Angelbird SSD2go Pocket is an SSD with dimensions of 89.0 x 69.9 x 10.4 mm and a weight of 90 g being perfect to carry in your pocket. The case is made of CNC machined aluminum and a pearl and anodized finish.
The device is made with 16nm Micron NLC MLC memory chips and natively implements the UASP protocol which enables excellent performance from the Silicon Motion 2246EN controller. Therefore, the Angelbird SSD2go Pocket achieves transfer rates of 450 MB / s in reading and 390 MB / s in writing.
The manufacturer has insisted on the quality and resistance of this new pocket SSD device and for this reason it has provided it with a 5-year guarantee and an MTBF of more than 2 million hours. It is perfectly prepared to operate under extreme conditions from -20ºC to 70ºC, with guaranteed data integrity from -40ºC to 85ºC.
It has several protections against overvoltages and overloads (ESD, EMS, ECC). And it's the first USB drive that supports SMART and TRIM on Mac devices.
