Antec has announced the availability of a new family of power supplies under the name Antec EDGE. We are talking about a new family of 100% modular power supplies with flat cables (except the 20 + 4-pin ATX) to facilitate channeling in any type of box. They have 80Plus Gold efficiency certification.
Antec's new power supplies will arrive in powers of 550, 650 and 750 W. They have been created in conjunction with Seasonic, which ensures the presence of the highest standards of quality and reliability. As for their design, they have a 0.8 mm SECC steel casing covered in a black anti-scratch layer and with noise reducing elements.
The new EDGE power supplies provide high-quality power output and are certified to support Haswell's C7 mode, are compliant with the new ATX12V 2.4 standard, and are covered by a 5-year direct warranty with Antec.
They will hit stores this month, but their price is still unknown.
