Antec DF500 RGB arrives with impressive front RGB lighting

Antec knows that the market for PC cases is jumping on the bandwagon of RGB LED lighting at affordable prices and does not want to be left out. So they announce their new DF500 RGB chassis. This tower for PC intends to compete with Master Cooler's MasterBox Lite 5 RGB. In addition, Antec also has a version without the aforementioned RGB lighting to have an even cheaper alternative.

The DF500 RGB measures 470 x 280 x 480mm, and comes with a left tempered glass side panel. In addition to having USB 3.0 ports and audio jacks on the front IO, there is also a button to control RGB LEDs. This is connected to a built-in RGB LED hub that allows users to control lights directly without relying on the motherboard. The presets for this RGB LED hardware controller include static, pulsating and breathing color cycle modes. It must be said that the three illuminated front fans give an 'intimidating' look to this chassis, which is sure to attract the attention of more than one.

It has seven expansion slots, which is standard for a mid-size box. However, it lacks support for 5.25-inch drives, but has room for two 3.5- or 2/5-inch drives. Four additional 2.5-inch drive mounting areas are available, two of which are located at the rear.

From 69.99 dollars for the RGB model

The DF500 RGB is priced at $ 69.99 in the US, the version without RGB lighting costs about $ 49.99.
