Phanteks evolv x announced, box in which two pcs can be mounted

The Phanteks brand has launched the evolution of its Enthoo Evolv ATX chassis, the Evolv X that stands out for its premium materials and its extensive compatibility with various components. Let's see it.

The new Evolv X comes with a very special peculiarity: if special kits are purchased separately, two ITX equipment can be mounted inside. This comes to complement the REVOLT X series of sources prepared to power two PCs. So, with both products it would be possible to mount a single unit and, if deemed necessary, upgrade two in the future. The manufacturer considers that it is something useful for users who want to separate their personal PC from work, to use a server, or for streamers.

In addition to the use of steel, aluminum and premium glass, the exterior of the Revolt X stands out for a type of front very characteristic for this series of products, and it has considerably larger air intakes than its predecessor, with the aim of improving the airflow. An optimized design is also offered to organize wiring as easily as possible and to assemble with the least use of tools.

Regarding its predecessor, we are facing a box that includes better possibilities in all aspects. Both the cooling, the fan control and the compatibility with components have been pleasantly improved, and we find a chassis of 65 liters of capacity compared to the 60 liters of the Evolv ATX, with an added weight of 5 kilograms (15kg) and notable advances such as the inclusion of USB type C or RGB lighting.

The only aspect that seems to have gotten worse is that now it includes serial support for 1 disk less than 3.5 ″, while it offers support for 4 units more than 2.5 ″, reaching 6. It should be noted that even more disks can be installed with bays sold separately.

We finish with the compatibility of radiators that reaches 420mm on the front, while we can install air coolers up to 190mm and graphics cards up to 435mm. Without a doubt, a large chassis (520 x 240 x 520) and great possibilities.

It wouldn't make sense that Phanteks didn't offer a good chassis option with support for two systems, after coming up with a power supply with this capability. The box will be available soon at a price of 200 euros. What do you think about it?
