New series of Dell Latitude Rugged notebooks announced

Dell has unveiled an updated line of Dell Latitude Rugged notebooks, including the 5420, 5424, and 7424 models. All come with sixth, seventh, and eighth-generation U-series processors.

Also all these Dell Latitude Rugged include a Qualcomm Snapdragon X20 4G LTE modem, and that means these machines are capable of 1.2Gbps download speeds. It also means that users have fast connectivity almost anywhere they go. All of these PCs are designed for the most extreme conditions. The Latitude Rugged 5420 is designed to be thin and light, weighing in at just 2.2 Kg. Like the rest of the models, it is certified for MIL STD-810G, so it is protected against dust, vibrations, shocks, humidity and drops, as well as being able to handle extreme temperatures. Dell Latitude Rugged 5424 is a similar device in a larger form factor, starting at 2.5 Kg. The Latitude Rugged 7424 is the flagship, is IP-65 rated, making it dust-tight and protected against pressurized water. Thanks to this, it can withstand rain, blow dust, blow sand, salt spray, solar radiation and more.

They all offer 14-inch, 1080p displays, and dedicated AMD Radeon 540 or RX54 0 graphics, so customers don't have to compromise when choosing the rugged form factor. The Dell Latitude Rugged 5424 and 7424 start at $ 1, 499 and $ 3, 499, respectively, while the Latitude 5420 starts at $ 1, 399.
