Patriot EVLVR, new high speed external SSD
The amount of data that users transfer and store has increased over the years due to major developments in technology and the ability to quickly process large amounts of data. The Patriot EVLVR Thunderbolt 3 External SSD is ideal for HD content, portable boot drives, video game libraries, high-capacity jobs and more thanks to its high speeds for consumers around the world.
We recommend reading our post on What is Intel WiDi technology and how to know if I have it on my PC
Thanks to the Physis E8 PCIe controller and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, the EVLVR can achieve an unprecedented speed of up to 1600MB / s in sequential read and up to 1000MB / s in sequential write speeds. Additionally, Thunderbolt 3 technology can achieve speeds of up to 40 Gb / s, up to 8 times faster than USB 3.0.
Thanks to Thunderbolt technology, users can experience the highest speed in 4K video transfers in less than 30 seconds. The EVLVR does not require any external power supply and is fully self-powered from the PC and other devices with a Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C connection. Data can be transferred at the same time as devices are loaded into a single USB Type-C port, reducing the amount of cables required to operate an external SSD.
The new Patriot EVLVR is now available in capacities of 512 GB for $ 299.99 and 1TB for $ 499.99, high figures but that seem quite consistent with a product in its category. What do you think about the characteristics of this new SSD Patriot EVLVR?
