Z390 AORUS Xtreme Waterforce

Observing the design aesthetics of the motherboard, we can see some great changes from the Z390 AORUS Xtreme, the most obvious being the large block that comes pre-installed in the Z390 Xtreme Waterforce. The monoblock extends from the CPU socket to the power supply section and even covers the Z390 chipset. Gigabyte also uses a plastic cover near the PCI-express slots, while we can find metal heatsinks for the M.2 ports.

In terms of specs, the Z390 AORUS Xtreme Waterforce is very similar to its brother Z390 Xtreme and as such we found little difference in technical aspect Z390 AORUS Xtreme Waterforce supports the most advanced AORUS design to date with the LGA 1151 socket it supports eighth and ninth generation processors. The CPU socket is powered by dual 8-pin connectors with a metal frame around them. The motherboard has a total of 16 digital IR VRMs. The PWM design includes 16 TDA21462 60A MOSFETs and 8 IR3599 phase benders.

Four DDR4 DIMM slots support up to 64GB of memory at 4400MHz (OC +) speeds. Storage includes six SATA III ports, while expansion capabilities include three PCIe 3.0 x16 (x16 / x8 / x4) ports, two PCIe x1 slots, and three M.2 slots.

This motherboard should really be on the list of overclockers and gamers who want the best and are willing to pay extra money for it. Its price and release date have not been disclosed in its announcement.
