Dell continues to confirm its love for Linux and announces its new line of Dell Precision laptops with Ubuntu 16.04.

5 new models for the Dell Precision line

Dell is one of the few companies that launch their laptops with Ubuntu, and this time there will be 5 new models for the Precision line that will have this operating system installed.

Among the laptops that have been announced, we see the Dell Precision 3520, 7520 and 7720. The 3520 model is already available worldwide, while the other two models will be available in stores from February 28. Dell also announced the Dell Precision 5520, but in this case it did not want to give a release date.

All computers are powered by the Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) operating system, which will receive its second maintenance update next week.

Dell Precision 3520 is a completely customizable unit and you can choose from a wide catalog of seventh generation Intel Core or Intel Xeon processors. The screen is 15.6-inch HD (1366 × 768) or you can choose a Full HD (1920 × 1080) with or without multi-touch support.

Dell Precision 3520 can also have up to 32GB of memory and a storage unit of up to 2TB. All models have dedicated Nvidia graphics cards, ECC memory and Thunderbolt 3 ports. This new laptop is available today in several countries in Europe, the United States and Canada, and can be purchased from Dell's own online store.
