Gigabyte is one of the best motherboard manufacturers and wants to make it very clear, during Computex 2018 they have shown the new Aorus X399 Xtreme, a model designed for AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors that stands out for its 10 + 3 phase VRM and the best refrigeration.

Aorus X399 Xtreme is a very high-end motherboard that has been created with AMD's most powerful processors in mind, its 10 + 3-phase VRM can boast of being the best cooler on the market thanks to the inclusion of two radiators and a heatpipe thick copper. The design of the heatsink makes it very clear that it has been designed to work perfectly, away from designs that are more attractive, but much less effective in doing their job.

This large cooling system in the VRM makes it the best prepared motherboard to receive the second generation Threadripper processors based on the Zen + architecture at 12nm FinFET, which will come with up to 32 cores and 64 threads to take to the company of Sunnyvale to the peak of performance.

Next to the TR4 socket we find eight DIMM slots compatible with a maximum of 128 GB of DDR4 memory in a four-channel configuration, perfect to take full advantage of these advanced processors.
