Watchos 6 is official: discover all the news

watchOS 6 is now official, after being presented at this WWDC 2019. The American company leaves us with the new version of its operating system for smartwatch, the sixth already. As usual, they leave us with a series of novelties in it, which will arrive this year to the company's watches. Less news than in other years, although of great importance.

Some functions were being rumored these past days, so there was a lot of interest to know if the company finally complied or not in this regard. What changes do they leave us?

Own app store

A novelty of great importance for watchOS 6, which will undoubtedly change a lot in the operating system. We now have an official Apple Watch store, where users will be able to download applications to their watch directly at all times, in a very simple way. So they will not depend on the iPhone when it comes to having apps.

Health spheres

It had already been announced a while ago that the launch of this version would leave us with new spheres of health, something that has been accomplished in this case. It is a sphere that shows our level of activity at certain times of the day. It is also in charge of monitoring the noise level, so that we know if it is dangerous or not.

In the health app they also leave us with a function that follows the cycle of women and their most fertile moments.

Voice Memos and Audiobooks App

Finally, Apple confirms the introduction of its own app for Voice Notes in watchOS 6. In this way, users will be able to record their own voice memos directly to their Apple Watch without any problem. They also leave us with the possibility to enjoy audiobooks directly on the watch.

So far no dates have been given for the introduction of this version of the operating system. Probably in the fall it's official.
