At the end of the weekend, Apple announced a new battery replacement program for some 13-inch MacBook Pro models that do not have a Touch Bar. The affected computers were manufactured between October 2016 and October 2017, and the program released is worldwide.

According to the company, a limited number of units have a component that can fail and cause the built-in battery to expand. This is not a safety issue, according to the company, but Apple will replace all eligible batteries for free.
