Apple has confirmed the recall of "many" illegal gaming applications whose developers distribute them from its App Store in China.

As we can read in The Wall Street Journal, the company has confirmed through a statement that it has eliminated "many" gaming applications. With this, you would have complied with the rules of your app store:
"Gambling applications are illegal and are not allowed on the App Store in China, " Apple said in a statement Monday. "We have already removed many apps and developers for trying to distribute illegal gambling apps on our App Store, and we are vigilant in our efforts to find them and prevent them from being on the App Store."
The company has not released a specific figure, limiting itself to mentioning “many”. However, from the Chinese state network CCTV, it is stated that until last Sunday 25, 000 applications had been withdrawn, which, despite the figure, would not represent the two percent of the total of 1.8 million applications present in the country's App Store.
