Asml will deliver 35 euv machines in 2020

ASML is a Dutch company that is the world's largest supplier of semiconductor lithography. In a 2019 earnings call, ASML said it will deliver some 35 units this year with its EUV technology, up from 26 that it delivered last year.

This is not a forecast in itself, but a known fact, since factories order their equipment months before they need to use it. Having previously delivered 26 EUV systems in 2019, the plan for the coming years is to increase shipments of EUV systems by up to 40% annually, which will help accelerate chip manufacturing with a 7nm EUV node.
With plans to ship between 45 and 50 EUV systems in 2021, AMSL will see a strong revenue gain in the coming years. What is driving demand for these machines is the use of increasingly smaller semiconductor manufacturing nodes. 7nm and even 5nm.
These tools will be used by Intel and are used by factories like TSMC and Samsung to make wafers using the latest cutting edge EUV technology.

The increase in the number of sales of EUV machines shows that demand will be increasing over the years. AMD already makes its 7nm chips, Apple has already adopted it, and Nvidia is expected to start using 7nm nodes for its upcoming GPUs as well.
