ASRock has five new Z390 motherboards ready

There are at least five new motherboards based on the upcoming Intel Z390 chipset that are waiting for the signal to go out in stores.

In May, Intel confirmed the existence of the Z390, a new 300 series chipset that improves the Z370's characteristics at 14nm, reducing power consumption while adding native support for USB 3.1 Gen 2 and Wirelesss-AC, which require additional third-party chips with Z370.

Confirmation comes from the manufacturer's support page

ASRock, who revealed that Intel plans to release 8-core processors for its 300 series motherboards, has confirmed its plans to release at least five Z390 series motherboards, including each model on its official support list. These motherboard models are Z390 Extreme4, Z390 Pro4, Z390 Taichi, Z390 Taichi Ultimate and its MATX Z390M Pro4. This does not mean that more models based on this chipset will not come out, but surely they are the ones that are confirmed at launch.

At this time, it is unknown when Intel plans to launch its Z390 series of motherboards, although it will likely coincide with the launch of Intel's upcoming 9000 series processors, that would make perfect sense.
