ASRock Introduces Z390 Phantom Gaming 7 and Phantom Gaming X

Both the ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 7 and ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming X come with a revamped new design that includes plenty of built-in RGB LED lighting, a 2.5GbE Realtek NIC card and three M.2 slots. The Z390 Phantom Gaming X also includes support for Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) for maximum performance and Wi-Fi connectivity.

As the Z390 chipset enters its final phase before Intel upgrades to a new variant later this year, ASRock's Phantom Gaming series of motherboards enters a critical phase of consolidation completing its entire range with two new Models.

We recently reported on the launch of a new Z390 Phantom Gaming 4S model, and these new boards mark a different model in the series on each of the Z390 motherboard segments; high-end, mid-range and now entry-level.

Z390 Phantom Gaming X adds a new Intel Wi-Fi 6 CNVi module, which also offers Bluetooth 5 connectivity. The Realtek 2.5GbE RTL8125AG LAN controller is also included, along with a pair of complementary GbE ports on the rear panel. Complementary to this, a lot of RGB to satisfy the demand of current players.

The Z390 Phantom Gaming 7 takes a different direction and seeks to bridge the gap between the existing Phantom Gaming 6 and the Phantom Gaming 9. The main differences are due to a new aesthetic with improved RGB LED lighting throughout. In addition to this there is a built-in I / O display on the rear panel, a Realtek RTL8125AG 2.5 GbE Ethernet port on the rear panel, as well as a single Intel 1 GbE LAN port.
