Asrock showcases its new generation of fatal1ty motherboards
ASRock has prepared new Fatal1ty Gaming series motherboards based on the new Intel LGA 1151 socket and Z170 and H170 chipsets to support the next generation of Intel Skylake CPUs manufactured in 14nm Tri-Gate.
ASRock's new boards are the ASRock Z170 Gaming K6, ASRock Z170 Gaming K4, ASRock H170 Performance, and ASRock Z170-e ITX. All of them arrive with the characteristic combination of colors in red and black of the Fatal1ty Gaming series.
The Z170 Gaming K6 is the flagship with powerful 13-phase VRM power, support for 3-way multi-GPU configurations, supports dual chanel DDR4-3000 RAM, two SATA Express 16Gb / s slots, Ultra M slot .2 (32Gb / s), high-end audio with 115 dBA SNR and Killer E2200 NIC network.
Next we have the Z170 Gaming K4 and the H170 Performance with a 10 phase VRM that share PCBs, and the Z170 ITX with a 6 phase VRM, offering all the essential elements of the new platform being able to accommodate only one graphics card to difference from the previous model. Despite belonging to a lower category, there is no lack of elements such as mSATA, Ultra M.2 (32Gb / s), SATA Express (16 Gb / s) and USB 3.1 ports. The heatsinks that will include these boards have not yet been shown.
