ASRock is already working with Intel to fix the reboot issues that have appeared with the patch installation to mitigate the Specter vulnerability, this solution will come in the form of new BIOS updates.
ASRock will release new BIOSes to end reboots
ASRock 8/9/100/200 / Z370 / X99 / X299 series motherboards will soon receive a BIOS update to include Intel's fix to reboot issues that have appeared. ASRock is aware that the current version of Intel's microcode could be affected by security vulnerabilities. Therefore, they recommend users to update their systems with the latest BIOS once the new Intel microcode with the fix is released.
