The manufacturer ASRock has a large presence in the market for cryptocurrency mining motherboards, proof of this is that, although the importance of said market has declined, they still keep it on their priorities with the new X370 Pro BTC + motherboard and the J3455 Pro BTC +

Mining with up to 14 charts with new ASRock boards

The new motherboard is intended to mine with APUs from the AM4 socket. Although it seems somewhat strange that a chipset such as the X370 is used (taking into account that in Intel most of the used chipsets are low-end), the explanation would be that the manufacturer still has enough stock left over from that chipset, which it has been succeeded by the X470.

This board has a single DIMM slot for RAM, and this component plays a very irrelevant role in the mining task. There are eight dedicated PCIe slots on this long board, making use of just one PCIe line, except for the first one with 4. You can connect more graphics cards for mining through USB, reaching a maximum of 14.

We finish by commenting on the specifications of the board with its 12-phase power supply , necessary for so many graphics cards, 3 ATX connections to use 3 power supplies at the same time, 1 8 + 4-pin EPS connector and 8 Molex power connectors. With cooling in mind, 8 fan connectors are included.

The brand also unveiled its J3455 Pro BTC + mining board, which integrates an Apollo Lake SoC with included cooling. The only notable difference apart from this is that a SO-DIMM slot is used instead of DIMM, otherwise they are quite similar.

At the moment we do not have price or availability data for the new mining plates presented by ASRock.
