ASUS has announced Clique R100, a complete solution with Qualcomm AllPlay technology to enjoy high quality music via streaming, developed jointly with Qualcomm Connected Experiences, Inc.

ASUS Clique R100 is a device that transforms any pair of self-powered speakers into a wireless sound system with which to play music from the main online radio and music services. Users will be able to stream high-resolution music from their iOS or Android phone or tablet over a Wi-Fi network.

By connecting several Clique R100 to the same Wi-Fi network, you can enjoy areas with different music or play the same synchronized content in all environments.

Clique R100 allows streaming both the user's personal collection and the content of Spotify and the main online music streaming services.

High definition audio streaming

Thanks to dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, the Clique R100 offers sound quality infinitely superior to solutions based on Bluetooth * connectivity. It supports lossless sound up to 192 KHz / 24-bit and support for a wide range of music formats, all with maximum reliability and flexibility.

Aside from lossless format support, the Clique R100 incorporates an audiophile-grade DAC with a signal-to-noise ratio of 106 dB (SNR), which is 10 times more transparent than smartphones and tablets.

Independent streaming in multiple stations

By connecting several Clique R100s to the same Wi-Fi network, you can create a complete music system with up to 10 independent playback zones. The exclusive synchronization technology of the Clique R100 also allows you to group separate zones so that they play the same content in a synchronized way.

Online music, podcasts, online radio stations and much more

Clique R100 is compatible with many online music services, such as: Spotify ™, Napster ™, SomaFM ™, Aupeo ™, Astro Player ™, DR.fm ™ and DoubleTwist ™. A list that will soon be expanded. TuneIn ™ support allows you to enjoy 100, 000 real radio stations and more than four million podcasts from around the world.
