Asus announces the bm1r projector
ASUS has unveiled the B1MR Ultra-Bright Wireless LED Projector which, with 900 lumens, ultra-short throw, and wireless connectivity, is the brightest projector available on the market under 1 pound. Created for professionals, this compact and lightweight projector is very easy to transport and, thanks to ASUS Wi-Fi Projection technology, allows you to project without using a video cable. The short-throw lens lets you enjoy a 51-inch image from a meter away.
Portable projector that does not need cables
With a weight of just 900 grams and a really small format, the B1MR can be easily transported in any bag or suitcase. In addition, it consumes the same energy as most ASUS laptops, allowing the same power adapter to be used for its power, saving weight and space when transporting it.
The BM1R has an optional Wi-Fi adapter that allows you to connect it directly to a PC, Android or iOS device without using any cable. The screen division function allows images to be projected from 2 or 4 independent sources.
Long-lasting LED lamp and short throw lens
With a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution, 900 lumens of brightness, a 10, 000: 1 contrast ratio, 100% reproduction of the NTSC color scale, and an Eco-LED lamp with a 30, 000 hour lifespan, the ASUS B1MR wireless projector offers completely sharp, color-packed images.
The short throw lens (0.9: 1) allows a 51-inch diagonal to be projected from a meter away, making it ideal for tight spaces. From three meters away, the image becomes 153 inches.
The ASUS B1M turns on in just 5 seconds and turns off instantly, without waiting for it to cool down. It incorporates a base with two positions and the auto-keystone function, which automatically corrects the keystone images.
Extensive connectivity and quality speakers
The wide selection of video inputs allows it to be connected to all kinds of devices, while the USB port and SD card slot make it possible to project directly from a USB storage device or a memory card. In addition, compatibility with Office and PDF file formats in many cases eliminate the need to carry a laptop or mobile device.
The B1MR incorporates two speakers with 2 watts of power and the sound improvements typical of SonicMaster technology.
