ASUS has added a cheaper GeForce RTX 2080 to its catalog, which it has named RTX 2080 Dual EVO, which comes with a custom 2.7-slot design.

Equipped with a cooling system consisting of two fans, the ASUS Dual EVO requires an 8-pin and a 6-pin connector to power the powerful Turing GPU.
The outputs for monitors (and TVs) consist of three DisplayPort 1.4, an HDMI 2.0b and a USB-C VirtualLink. The cover features a subtle lighted stripe, as if to embellish the sober look of the card a bit. There will be two models, one with a reference clock and the other with slightly higher performance. The “DUAL-RTX2080-8G-EVO” model has the same clock speeds as the NVIDIA reference graphics card with a 1710 MHz GPU acceleration, and in the faster “DUAL-RTX2080-A8G-EVO” model that frequency can reach 1725 MHz (An invaluable difference). The memory frequency of both cards remains unchanged, around 14 Gbps (GDDR6-effective).
ASUS uses 2.7 slot design
The ASUS RTX 2080 comes with a width of 2.7 slots and is IP5X certified which makes it dust resistant. The durability of the card is reaffirmed with a protective plate to prevent the PCB from flexing or being damaged.
