ASUS is apparently opting for AMD processors instead of Intel CPUs when it comes to its upcoming gaming laptops. Chinese retailer JD.com listed and unveiled the ASUS FX95DD laptop, nicknamed 'Flying Fortress, ' which makes use of an AMD Ryzen 7 3750H processor.

ASUS FX95DD uses Ryzen 7 3750H and GTX 1050

The Ryzen 7 3750H is part of AMD's Picasso line of processors for laptops. The chip is 4-core, 8-wire based on the Zen + microarchitecture under a 12nm node. The Ryzen 7 3750H operates at a base clock speed of 2.3GHz and can reach 4GHz at full load. The processor also has 6MB of L3 cache and occupies a TDP of 35W.

The Ryzen 7 3750H comes with integrated graphics, in this case the Radeon Vega 10. These graphics make the processor an attractive option for laptop manufacturers. It boosts up to 1.4GHz and is more than enough for casual games and daily tasks. On the other hand, the laptop equips the 3GB GTX 1050, much more suitable for games with a more intensive use of graphics. Buyers can choose between both options.
