Many users have been wondering for a long time when the ASUS Crosshair VI Hero was going to have support for multipliers of more than 3200MHz and the pleas have been heard with a new BIOS update, which now allows us the multipliers of 3466MHz, 3600MHz, 3733MHz, 3866MHz and 4000MHz without the need for BCLK overclocking.

ASUS Crosshair VI Hero with + 3200MHz multipliers and AGESA 1006 support

ASUS upgrades its Crosshair VI Hero motherboard with faster memory multipliers to get the most out of the entire AMD AM4 architecture, powered by the AMD X370 chipset.

The Japanese brand is also aware of the AGESA 1006 microcode and users are also given access to a memory sub-timer to help achieve higher performance. Thanks to the AGESA microcode, a wider range of memories can now be used to combine them with AMD Ryzen processors, and in this way, develop the full potential that these new processors can give.

This opens the possibility for other manufacturers to start offering multipliers similar to those of the Crosshair VI Hero, so stay tuned for the next developments that are emerging for AM4 motherboards.
