Anonim

One of the drawbacks of high-performance graphics cards is the high power consumption they present, something that forces us to acquire very powerful power supplies with the consequent economic cost. The Asus GeForce GTX 950 arrives to offer excellent performance without the need for additional power.

The new Asus GeForce GTX 950 graphics card has the particularity that it takes the power it needs for its operation only through the PCI-Express slot to which it connects. It comes in a dual-slot design with an efficient aluminum heatsink seasoned by two 70mm fans for cooling.

The Asus GeForce GTX 950 PCB features an Asus- customized VRM that keeps power consumption below 75W to eliminate the need for an auxiliary power connector, therefore it is powered only through the PCI-Express slot from the motherboard.

The card comes with a GM204 GPU with a total of 768 CUDA cores, 48 TMUs, and 32 ROPs spread across 6 SMMs enabled at a maximum frequency of 1, 190 MHz. Alongside the GPU we find 2 GB of GDDR5 memory with a 128-bit interface and a reference frequency of 6.6 GHz.

Its price has not been revealed.
