Asus lists support for new apus ryzen 3 2200ge and ryzen 5 2400ge

AMD has finally launched its highly anticipated Raven Ridge processors, which offer an excellent, low-cost alternative for users looking to assemble new equipment based on AMD's Zen and Vega processing technologies. However, the landing of Raven Ridge has only just begun and the first clues of new Ryzen 3 2200GE and Ryzen 5 2400GE models have already been given.

Ryzen 3 2200GE and Ryzen 5 2400GE leaked

It has been Asus who has leaked the first tracks of Ryzen 3 2200GE and Ryzen 5 2400GE, new processors that will differ from the current two by operating at lower frequencies, and therefore with much more adjusted power consumption. The TDP of these new processors is expected to remain at 35W, which is an example of the tremendous energy efficiency that Ryzen can achieve.

These new Ryzen 3 2200GE and Ryzen 5 2400GE would come at a maximum frequency of 3.2 GHz, allowing to operate at a lower voltage and therefore, reduce energy consumption and heat generation. These new E-series units are expected to sell at lower prices than their high-performance counterparts, although at this time AMD has not officially revealed any of these new low-power APUs.
